Youths and Youth Leaders of YMCA KL are a balanced mix of College/University as well as young working adults with a desire be the future leaders of YMCA KL in both local and international levels. |

Majudiri ‘Y’ Foundation For The Deaf |

Donation proceeds goes to the core development of Pusat Majudiri ‘Y’ Centre For The Deaf at YMCA KL.

The Majudiri 'Y' Foundation For The Deaf was established to receive and administer funds for education, training youth work, scientific research and for charitable purposes of the Deaf Community. |

The Foundation exists to work towards helping, guiding and developing the Deaf Citizens of Malaysia irrespective of race, religion and creed. In supporting the Deaf Community, the MYF will soon be developed as a Self-Reliance Centre for the Deaf.
Beneficiary: The development and sustainability of Pusat Majudiri ‘Y’ Centre For The Deaf, which encompasses the Pusat Jagaan ‘Y’, Deaf Club and Sign Language Courses.
How To Contribute: Volunteers Must at least be proficient in Sign Language before signing up as a long- term, temporary or ad-hoc Volunteer. Donors Provide monetary funds through the Majudiri ‘Y’ Foundation For The Deaf or in-kind contributions towards the Pusat Jagaan ‘Y’ and/or Deaf Club. Partnership Sponsoring a cause driven by the Pusat Majudiri ‘Y’ through the Majudiri ‘Y’ Foundation For The Deaf.

Samaritan Ministries + Kenosis Home: The Brickfields Street Feeding Project |

Donation proceeds goes to the core development, sustainability and improvements in the Brickfields Street Feeding Project, a partnership between the YMCA KL and the Samaritan Ministries since 2007.
|

The Samaritan Ministries is a social outreach branch of the Trinity Methodist Church, working in the areas of basic assistance from food, medicine and shelter for the homeless, the poor and refugees living within Brickfields and the Klang Valley. The Kenosis Home is a rehabilitation center with a faith-based recovery program that helps its residents to grasp core Christian values. It offers a caring, supportive and disciplined environment that helps to empower residents to live a purposeful and drug-free life. |

For seven years, as a thriving community hub for two prominent social outreach organizations, the YMCA KL has worked together with Samaritan Ministries of Trinity Methodist Church and the Kenosis Home to sustain the social impact created by the Brickfields Street Feeding Project at the YMCA KL Car Park. It has made ample progress to serve both the destitute and unnoticed living and barely surviving in Brickfields and the Klang Valley. The number of meals that needs to be served per week averages between 120 to 140. Medical assistance is also provided through the volunteering presence of two qualified general doctors.
Beneficiary: The displaced, the underprivileged and refugees living within Brickfields and the surrounding Klang Valley.

How To Contribute: Volunteers Community Liaison, Transitional Facilitator and Social Devleopment GATN Participants with YMCA KL Staff-In-Charge on duration of travel. Donors Provide monetary or in-kind funding for transportation, meals and equipment (where applicable) Sponsors Sponsor entry to location, resources, equipment and facilitation fees for select packages according to cause-driven objective of travel agenda.
